by David Musyoka and Chrispinus OmarNAIROBI, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- A grenade attack in Nairobi on early Monday morning was staged by Al Shabaab sympathizers residing in the capital Nairobi, preliminary investigations by the Kenya police show.Police Commissioner Mathew Iteere told a news conference in Nairobi that the attack was staged by unknown assailant who threw a grenade at a crowd of revelers in one of the bars located in downtown Nairobi.At least 14 people were injured, three of them seriously with one being amputated both legs at the Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi, according to reporters who visited the hospital.Police Commissioner however said no victim of the attack has died as previously reported in the media here."We expect to see these kinds of attacks, most probably coming from the Al Shabaab sympathizers in Kenya.
