|

Hey everybody!
I am currently trying to build my own hookah and I would like to take a "more professional approach". I hope you might have some answers to my questions!
What do you think might be the best water- to- air ratio in the bowl? If one knew the perfect ratio, would it be applicable to all bowl sizes?
-> what's the minimum amount of water one can use? what's the smallest size the bowl can be?
what is the optimal heat for the tobacco?
How much force would one have to apply in order to still be able to inhale without making an effort? What would be the perfect ratio between length and diameter of the hose? what's the maximum length?
Which quantity of tobacco should the head be able to hold? As long as the tobacco is stacked in a relatively thin manor, shouldn't it be possible to use very big diameter (p.e. size of a plate) ?
I have often heard that the longer the distance between the head and the water is, the less hazardous the smoking. How relevant do you think this is?
What are the longterm effects on the material one should take into account?
Thanks for replying! Probably there aren't always "exact perfect values" for all of these questions but I'm sure there must be a certain span of values one could apply! Maybe we'll be able to put together a set of data for the "perfect hookah"!! |
